Kuta Small Business Association (KSBA) Bali Province organized 5th annual program of Kuta Carnival at 1st to 9th September 2007. Chief of KSBA, I Made Supatra Karang to mass media in Kuta –Bali said “This program is proposed as campaign to recovery Bali Tourism image.

The committee will perform various activities such as; exhibition, artistry attraction and traditional music performance, food festivals, competition of beach volleyball, beach soccer, kite competition, surfing and others. For kite festivals, the participant had reached thousands participants. They will demonstrate traditional kites and three dimension kites.”

Karang said that Kuta Carnival which had been held since 2003 was expected to inform the international world about Bali recovery after Bali bombing in 2002. It also expected to attract foreign and domestics tourist visiting Bali again. Kuta Carnival which is participated by thousands people were started with parade of dancers and gamelan artist, decorative car, decorative dokar (pedicap), bevy of automotive and other. The parade passed through Melasti street. Legian street and finished in front of Kuta Beach. SA
