Soon precisely on 30th September 2007 we will commemorate 42 years 1965 tragedy. One of the blackest sheet in Indonesian history. Hundreds of thousand people were massacred without law process. This abattoir remind us that in this country happened a horrible human tragedy in the past where a people of Indonesian killing each other.

I think, it’s fair enough to discuss again about that. It useful at least to reconstruct that tragedy. It is important in purpose this nation could take a lesson from a historical process. So that this nation will not repeat again a horrible tragedy that happen in the past.

We know that the victim of tragedy 65 was stigmatized by country that finally could manipulate its people. From the age of 65 until now they had been discriminated, always blamed and alienated. Many people do not want their existence. Many abused addressed to those people which is stamped as communist and atheist.

Communism as ideology is historical “memory, but in this country communism is still considered as scary enemy, or manipulate as if communism is horrible. In “orde Baru’ regime, even learning or writing about communism was hardly forbidden.

This ideology was so hated full by the regime of “Orde Baru” even just to read about was forbidden. The people were given foolish learning by the country, people was frightened by something that they didn’t understand. This ideology was chosen not because many people read the book or learning about communism. Indonesia, communism didn’t life because of the resurrection of Marxism-communism discourse. Reformation period has proved it. But what communism still considered as a scary ghost? Why not the issue poverty, hunger, unemployment made as frightening reality that really happen?

The consideration of this nation has been trapped and pointed to illusion reality. All rumors about the communism resurrection commonly based on untruly reality, it often just political intrigue. It was done because people consideration of communism stigmatized as a very bad thing, so that there is no truth aspects in it. Until seven generation, child of the people stamped as communist do not get the same right with other people to build this country. The values of humanity has been destroyed political and power intrigue. As a common people, we never understand correctly war really happen.

Finally, it should not happen again to accusing and frightening about communism resurrection, isn’t better to do a serious reflection to realize reconciliation process to build this nation together, so that, this country could be faster overcoming the problem poverty and unemployment in the society.
